Inspired by their experience in chic event planning and creative cuisine, Susan Smederovac-Wilcox and Chef Becky J. Windels founded The Herb Box Catering Company Inc. In Scottsdale, Arizona in 1995, based on a market need for high-end catering with exemplary client service. Not only did The Herb Box satisfy market demand with its custom designed menus to please many a discriminating palette… It quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to excellence among notable chefs, restaurateurs, business owners and private clientele.

We remodeled an existing space into a flagship location including a full catering kitchen, private dining, indoor-outdoor bar, full outdoor patio and market/ The space was in a great location but the master plan had lacked the success that was expected due to the economic downturn. The Herb Box helped revitalize the area by becoming an anchor and adding much needed foot traffic to Southbridge and has become part of an overall neighborhood plan for Downtown Scottsdale.
