Getting to Know Christina Johnson, our Creative Director
The Private Label International team is comprised of some amazingly talented professionals…well, if we do say so ourselves. We want you to learn more about our smart and savvy business partners. Here are a few things you may not know and a few words from Christina Johnson.
If you could have a super power, what would you choose?
Ten-year-old me would absolutely say flying. I was the kid that jumped off everything hoping to get a bit of wind resistance, which of course didn’t happen. Current me would say the ability to look at someone and see their emotions and feelings correctly. I know there would probably be quite a few people every day that I would react to differently if I knew what kind of day they had or the true nature of their emotional well-being. And the ability to decipher a four-year-old’s emotional outburst would be beyond helpful most days.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
A dog for sure. I’m very loyal, crave attention, do better in groups and am most likely excited to see you. I also need to be fed regularly and will remind you if I haven’t been.
Favorite comfort item?
This may sound crazy being Arizona born and raised, but I love blankets—the fluffier the better. I have about six places in my house that I store blankets so I can pull one out at any given moment.
What is a little-known fact about you that your clients might find interesting?
I loved playing basketball growing up…and I won a slam dunk contest.
What is one of the most important things to know about partnering with PLI?
We’re pretty cool. That’s really the extent of it. I’m sure the years of formulating PR appropriate responses to this would require me to say this differently, but that’s it in a nut shell. We’re cool, we try our best to know what’s going on all over the place because we crave inspiration, it’s like breathing, and we CARE. We care about your business, we care about your success, we care about your well-being, your family, your life. We want you to be successful and if you ask us for help in doing that, we are honored to be a part of that blip in your journey. The name Private Label came about because we want to focus on creating curated experiences for our clients and that’s not about us, its about you. We want to be the best design friends you’ve ever had.
