New technological developments have made smaller and thinner appliances a reality, opening the possibility of revisiting kitchen essentials.

Cabinets, islands and cooking stations continue to get slimmer, looking more and more like desks or console tables, with fine legs and structures.

Extractors resemble modern lamps or mirrors to be decorative features. Other examples are fully retractable, folding away into the ceiling or kitchen top at the push of a button.

Removable panels hide sinks and allow for more work surface, while fridges are made to resemble cupboards.

Cabinet fronts are covered with original prints and patterns, seen at Aran Cucine.
